Finally the rush is over and we have made lots of money for our class trip to Oamaru.My favourite part about today was making the lemon juice it was the first time I had made this lemon juice. I hope the bacon butties and toffee apples
have a good turn out as well.
week 1 term 4
in maths my favourite thing that we learnt this week would probable have to be learning about factors and multiples and getting better at them now that i know what they are I am more confident about doing them. I think they are quite easy and I am glad I learnt how to do them because it makes it easyer to do them when you know how to do them.

My Goals
Reading: My goal for reading is to enjoy reading by getting a book that I will like and find interesting to read.
Maths: My goal for maths is to get better at all maths but mostly fractions.
Writing:My goal for writing is to get a lot neater in my handwriting and to get up to linking by the end of the year.
What would we do if our daughter was going to have a baby? By Jaimee and Tom, an inspiration from a New Zealand play done by the senior T.A.S drama students
We would be fine with it because she wouldn't be doing it with a husband that is our nemesis, she wouldn't have to have the baby adopted by the wider family and she wouldn't have to be connected to the wider family as most families wouldn't do, it is also good that our family grows because the daughter might have another baby and then that baby will have a baby and the Family will go on and that our daughter will be happy because the family goes on.

Science.
In Science we are making bridges. My group made the Clyde Arc which is in Glasgo. At first we were not so sure what we were going to use for the arch but we soon figured out what we needed.
Kelpie A shape-shifting horse like water spirit said to haunt the rivers and streams of Scotland. Kelpies are said to have backward hooves and could change between horse and water. It is said that the horse would mate with a mortal horse and its off spring would have golden wishing hooves. However, when approached, the offspring would suck one in to drown in the nearest body of water
The Kelpie was also known to lure humans, especially children into the water to kill and eat them. It usually does this by encouraging children to ride on its back, where its skin becomes sticky - almost adhesive - and it then drags them to the bottom of the water to devour leaving only the heart or liver.

Nessie, also known as the Loch Ness Monster, lives in Scotland. There have been many sightings of it. With quite a few hoaxes, there become disbelievers. But with scientific evidence (see picture below), it's now wonder it's the world's most famous monster. Because of Nessie, Scotland has had many visitors. With the economy going up, the goveronment made it illegal to kill Nessie. But with many tourists, there come lake polution, and the few Nessies alive may die.

Tis is the meal I made at home it is one of the meals we made in cooking my parents said that they really enjoyed it I felt
so proud of myself that I made my fist meal at home and it didn't fail !!!
Ellen's puppies.
Today Ellen brought her puppy into school to show the class.
We all sat down and the puppy went walking round
she came to see us and jumped up on us.
Her name is Flow and she has a brother at home and
his name is Rug.
They are so cute and fluffy. I really like their little floppy ears.
"Are we there yet, I'm tired and I cant walk any further." We were walking to a place we had never been before and we had got lost. It felt like we were walking for miles on a deserted road in the middle of nowhere."Everyone be quiet I think I here something," we all stop and look around,"Hey what is that?" I said." Its a truck!" Said Mr Aronsen. Where did it come from? I said," I don't know." I got closer and closer until it was right beside us.We found out that it was Riaane in his truck he said he was here to take us back to where we were meant to be so he through us in the back as if we were sheep.
Finally we got to where we were supposed to be but we didn't realize that we had to walk up all the way up quite a big hill to get there. When we got to the top of the hill where Mr Frost and Nick were we were all huffing and puffing so we sat down while Mr Frost was telling us what to do. Now that we know what we have to do we go and put our gear on and get ready to climb. Today was a good day for me and my friends.

Dear Mr Van Der Westhuizen
Thank you very much for coming on our camp we especially needed you on the tramp because you helped us with getting down big steps and helping us when we feel down and when we got hurt. We also really enjoyed having you with us on camp, you made us laugh you picked us up when we went way to far past where we were meant to go for rock climbing. We had a really good camp with you.

Camp Recount
